1. Purposes and data collected
- Inquiries: your name, email address and message are required; a subject is optional. Information you include in the message is also forwarded.
- Consent record: both consent choices and the server receipt time are recorded with the inquiry email.
- Abuse prevention: your IP address is used in server memory to limit repeated submissions.
- Site operations: server access logs may record your IP address, request time, path and browser information.
- Visitor analytics: when you visit, we record your IP address, visit times, pages and approximate time spent, referrer, browser and device information, and an approximate IP-based location. One IP does not necessarily mean one person. We do not collect GPS or MAC addresses.
- Language choice: the NEXT_LOCALE cookie stores your Korean or English selection.
2. Retention and deletion
Inquiry emails are retained for one year after a reply is completed for follow-up and are deleted regularly. Unanswered inquiries are deleted within one year of receipt. If you withdraw consent or ask for deletion earlier, we verify your identity and act where possible.
IP data used for rate limiting expires in server memory and may remain for up to about two hours. Server access logs currently rotate daily and are kept for up to about 15 days. The NEXT_LOCALE cookie lasts one year unless you delete it in your browser.
Visitor analytics records and administrator login attempt logs are kept for up to 30 days. The visitor session cookie expires when the browser closes. Administrator session cookies expire after at most 12 hours or 20 minutes of inactivity.
Electronic files and emails are deleted when their retention period ends. Any separate legal retention requirement will be identified with its data and period.
3. Third parties and service providers
HyunYl does not sell or independently share inquiry content with third parties. Plus Five Five, Inc. (Resend) processes inquiry emails on our behalf for delivery and delivery records.
4. Transfer outside Korea
When you submit the form, your name, email address, optional subject, message, both consent records and receipt time are sent through an API to Plus Five Five, Inc. (Resend, support@resend.com) in the United States. The transfer occurs when you submit your inquiry so the message can reach HyunYl’s inbox.
HyunYl uses a standard Resend plan without a separate Enterprise agreement, so Resend retains email and delivery logs for 30 days and then deletes them. Remaining data is deleted within 90 days after the account is closed. If you decline this transfer, you cannot use the form; you may contact contact@hyunyl.com through your own email application instead.
5. Your rights
You may request access, correction, deletion, suspension of processing or withdrawal of consent by emailing contact@hyunyl.com. We will verify your identity, handle the request and explain the result. For messages already sent, we will check the receiving inbox and request deletion from the service provider where possible.
6. Safeguards and cookies
HyunYl uses HTTPS, inquiry rate limits and restricted access to the receiving account. This site does not use advertising cookies. You can delete the language cookie in your browser; doing so may reset your language choice.
